Summer Picnic
After the hectic Spring Festival Activities it is always time to relax and enjoy. Like every year we had our Picnic at the Duke Island Park. Many amenities of the park make this event of fun and frolic even more exciting and invigorating. It also presents an opportunity to mingle with and know other members of our Association.
As always the picnic is a huge success. The picnic revelers cannot help but devour the delicious catered food. There were hot from the frying pan Pakoras sprinkled with tasty masala that assuaged the taste buds of all from young to old. The luncheon was another treat in itself hot and scrumptious Chhole- Bhatura served with Salad, Raita, chutney and vegetable biryani. And to top it all Gulab Jamuns were served as dessert.
People involved themselves in the game of Volley Ball, Horse Shoe, Tag, Socializing etc. There were games organized for various age groups to bring out their physical abilities. The volunteers who prepared and conducted these games did a great job in keeping the children busy and dishing out fun. As usual the day that began with corn on the Cob, ended with cool watermelon
